Ingredients for Easy Beyti Recipe

For the dough:

  • 4 pieces of dough
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 1 tea glass of water

For the meatballs:

  • 700 grams of minced meat
  • 1 grated onion
  • 3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg _
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 1 pinch of chili pepper
  • 1 pinch of cumin
  • 1 pinch of red pepper powder

For service:

  • 1 bowl of garlic yoghurt
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

For sauce:

  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1/2 tea glass of hot water

How to Make Easy Beyti Recipe?

  • First, let's prepare the meatballs. Grate the onion and garlic or put them in a food processor. It is added to the ground meat.
  • Other ingredients are added and kneaded. Optionally, you can prepare it in advance and let it rest in the refrigerator.
  • Yufka is rolled out in a single layer. The round parts are folded inwards. A square is obtained. Mix tomato paste, oil and water.
  • It is applied onto the dough in sufficient quantity with the help of a brush. The meatball mixture is divided into four equal parts.
  • A section of it is placed as a strip on the end of the dough and rolled. It is cut into 2 fingers thick.
  • The same process is applied to all of them and placed in a suitable baking dish. You can grease the baking tray with a little oil. Bake in a preheated oven at 190° for 30-35 minutes.
  • For the sauce, the oils are melted. Add tomato paste and fry a little. Hot water is added, the sauce is ready. After the beyti is cooked, it is served when the heat subsides. While serving, yoghurt, sauce and butter are drizzled. Enjoy your meal.
