Ingredients for Eggplant Kebab Recipe
  • 350 grams of ground beef
  • 350 grams of minced lamb
  • 1 onion (grated )
  • 3 tablespoons of bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme
  • 4 eggplants _
  • 20 cherry tomatoes
  • 4 village peppers
  • 2 capia peppers

How to Make Eggplant Kebab Recipe?

  • To prepare the meatballs, in a deep mixing bowl, mix the ground beef, ground lamb, grated onion, bread crumbs, salt, black pepper, crushed garlic, cumin and thyme well.
  • Cut walnut-sized pieces from the meatball mixture and roll them.
  • Slice the eggplants into two-finger thick slices and soak them in salt water to remove the bitterness.
  • Arrange all the ingredients, one slice of eggplant and one meatball, on a greased baking tray.
  • Place chopped cherry tomatoes, village peppers and capia peppers in the remaining spaces or on top.
  • In a separate bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of tomato paste, 2 cups of water, salt and 3 tablespoons of oil.
  • Pour the sauce you prepared over the eggplants and meatballs and bake them in the oven set at 190 degrees for 40 minutes.
  • Portion it onto plates while it is hot and enjoy it with your loved ones.
