A recipe whose flavor is hidden in its sauce. Chicken, pasta or red meat goes great with all of them. Its preparation will not tire you. So, roll up your sleeves and head to the kitchen to get ready.

 
Ingredients for Entrecôte Recipe with Cafe de Paris Sauce

For sauce:

  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 100 milliliters of cream
  • 1 teaspoon curry
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 pinch of dill
  • 80 grams of butter
  • 50 grams of parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

For the puree:

  • 2 medium sized potatoes
  • 2 spoonful butter
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

For meat marination:

  • 2 entrecôtes ( tenderloin would also be great with chicken)
  • 1/2 tea glass of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme
  • 2 cloves of garlic

How to Make Entrecôte Recipe with Cafe de Paris Sauce?

  • We marinate the meat with olive oil, black pepper, thyme and garlic and marinate it in the fridge until we prepare the sauce. (The longer the marinating time, the more delicious it will be. You can prepare it in advance.
  • While the meat is marinating, we can make the puree. We cut the potatoes into large pieces and boil them until they become soft. We add butter and salt to the boiled potatoes and mash them. The puree is ready.
  • While preparing the sauce, we first take 2 crushed cloves of garlic and cream into our sauce pan. We add turmeric, curry, mustard and cumin and mix.
  • When it starts to boil, we reduce the heat and add the butter to the sauce in 2-3 portions. We add Parmesan cheese (originally Roquefort is used) and mix well.
  • Finally, we add the finely chopped dill and black pepper and turn off the heat. The sauce is ready.
  • After the meat that has been waiting in the fridge comes to room temperature, we sprinkle salt on it and cook it in a cast iron pan (if you have one) (or in a non-stick pan) over the highest heat for 4-5 minutes on each side. The meat is ready.
  • We first put the puree on the plate we will serve it on. We put the sliced meat on the puree, pour the cafe Paris sauce we prepared and eat it with pleasure. Enjoy your meal.
