  • 1 whole wheat bread ( round)
  • 3 tablespoons of oil
  • 1 onion (chopped )
  • 400 grams of beef cubed meat
  • 2 carrots (diced )
  • 1 cup of peas
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon fennel
  • 1 teaspoon anise
  • 2 glasses of water
  • 2 tomatoes (peeled and chopped )

For the above:

  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of sage

How to Make Fodula Recipe?

  • Fry the onion with oil in a pot until it turns pink.
  • Then add the cubed meat and fry until the water is released and absorbed.
  • Add carrots and peas and fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add salt, fennel, anise, water and chopped tomatoes and cook over medium heat until the water evaporates.
  • Cut the top of a round whole wheat bread into a lid and remove the inside of the bread.
  • Fill the cooked meat mixture into this bread and place it on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  • Heat the butter in a small pan and fry it with the sage.
  • Close the lid of the bread you placed on the baking tray and spread the sage butter on it.
  • After baking it in the oven at 175 degrees for about 15 minutes, you can enjoy it with your loved ones.
