Ingredients for Homemade Beyti Kebab Recipe
  • 150 grams of minced meat
  • 1 teaspoon of ground red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1.5 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 piece of dough
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste (for spreading on the dough)

For Tomato and Yogurt Sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons hot water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of yoghurt
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1/4 bunch of parsley

How to Make Homemade Beyti Kebab Recipe?

  • Set the oven to 170 degrees.
  • Place the minced meat in a large bowl.
  • Knead the red pepper powder, salt, black pepper, breadcrumbs and garlic thoroughly with the minced meat.
  • Fold 1 piece of dough into an envelope style so that the top is longer.
  • Apply the tomato paste to the envelope-shaped dough you prepared using a brush.
  • Roll the minced meat into a roll and wrap it with dough.
  • Portion it into neat and equal slices with the help of a knife.
  • Place the couplets you have prepared on a baking tray lined with baking paper and apply olive oil on them.
  • Bake for about 10-15 minutes until well browned.
  • While the beyti are cooking, prepare the tomato sauce. Melt the butter. Heat the tomato paste, hot water, garlic powder and black pepper for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add garlic yoghurt, prepared tomato sauce and finely chopped parsley over the beyti and serve. It's that easy, bon appetit.
