For Meatballs:
- 500 grams of minced lamb
- 1 onion _
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon of chili pepper
- 1 cup bread crumbs
For Lavash:
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon of yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons of yoghurt
- 2 tablespoons of oil
For the above:
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1/2 tea glass of water
- 2 tablespoons butter (for topping)
How to Make Homemade Beyti Kebab Recipe?
- First, prepare dough in earlobe consistency by mixing lavash ingredients.
- Divide the dough you prepared into egg-sized pieces.
- Roll it out with the help of a rolling pin (be careful to roll it out as thinly as possible) and cook it in a pan on the stove. Put the cooked lavash between a cloth (so that it does not dry out).
- Mix all the meatball ingredients and knead well. Leave it to rest in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Shape the rested mortar into thin and long shapes by rolling it with your hands. Place it on a baking tray lined with baking paper and shape it with your hands. Apply oil on top and bake in the oven at 200 degrees until golden brown.
- Wrap the cooked meatballs between the lavash and cut them into bites and place them on a plate.
- Lightly fry 1 tablespoon of ketchup and 1 tablespoon of tomato paste in a pan, add half a tea glass of water, cook for 1 minute and pour over the couplets.
- Finally, heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan and pour it over the couplets.
