- 1.5 cups of red lentils
- 3 cups fine bulgur
- 2 bunches of parsley
- 1 large size onion
- 2 fresh garlic cloves
- 6 spring onions
- 5 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons of pepper paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of chili pepper
- 60 milliliters of olive oil
How to Make Lentil Meatballs Recipe?
- Wash the lentils and cook them with about 6-7 glasses of water, adding cumin. When it is cooked well and the water decreases, add fine bulgur and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Chop the onion into cubes, fry half of it in a pan in plenty of olive oil until it turns pink, turn off the heat and add red pepper.
- Since the onion will continue to fry in the heat of the oil, it is important to turn off the heat when it turns pink, otherwise our onions may burn.
- Put the lentils in the mixing bowl, add salt, tomato paste and the rest of the diced onions and knead well.
