  • 2 cups of rice
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 500 grams of beef cubed meat
  • 15-20 shallots _
  • 1 cup boiled chickpeas
  • 1 cup grated tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

How to Make Meat and Chickpea Kapama Recipe?

  • First, put the meat in a pressure cooker, add about 4 cups of water to cover it and let it boil. Once it starts boiling, boiling it in a pressure cooker for about 30 minutes will be enough.
  • Wash the rice in a strainer with plenty of water.
  • Put the butter in a deep pan and after the butter melts, fry the peeled shallots for 3-4 minutes.

After cooking in this way for 40 minutes, bring the oven temperature to 180 degrees and leave the rice to cook under control for another 20 minutes until it absorbs the water.
