How to Make Meat Basma Recipe?

  • Peel the potatoes, cut them into rings, mix them with crushed garlic, salt, black pepper and olive oil in a deep bowl and place them on a baking tray.
  • For the minced meat mixture, first chop the onion, garlic and red peppers as small as possible with a knife and knead them with pepper paste, salt, black pepper and minced meat. Wet your hands from time to time during the kneading process to ensure that the mixture becomes slightly loose.
  • After your mixture is collected, tear off large pieces from it, expand it with your hand and place it on the potatoes. Press the entire mixture with your hands and spread it so that the potatoes are not visible and there is no space in between.
  • Place a piece of baking paper on the meat and bake in a 200 degree fan oven for 30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes, remove the paper and you will see the meat and potatoes shrink slightly from the edges. Place whole green peppers on top of the tomato and meat press into these spaces.
  • Lightly salt and oil the tomatoes and peppers, bake again for about 15 minutes until the potatoes soften. Serve the meat basma hot. Enjoy your meal!
