Ingredients for Meat Saute with Puree & Mushrooms Recipe

For sautéing meat:

  • Half a kilogram of cubed meat
  • 1 pack of mushrooms
  • 1 tomato _
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 tea glass of milk
  • 1 tea glass of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme

For the puree:

  • 4 potatoes _
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 tea glass of milk (depending on consistency)
  • 1/2 tea glass of grated cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

How to Make Meat Saute Recipe with Puree & Mushrooms?

  • Season the meat with some milk and olive oil at least 2-3 hours in advance. Seal the seasoned meats in a pot with some oil. When the water is released, add tomato paste, tomato, salt and spices, fry and cook in a pressure cooker. Remove from the stove, sprinkle with thyme and stir.
  • Sauté chopped red and yellow peppers in a separate pot. Add chopped mushrooms, salt and spices and cook.
  • For the puree, mash the boiled potatoes, add butter, salt and some milk until it reaches a thick consistency. When serving, put the mushroom & pepper mixture on top of the meat sauté and serve with mashed potatoes.
