It is very easy to make tantuni, which is very popular as a street delicacy, at home with the same taste. Let's take you to the kitchen, please.
For Tantuni:
- 650 grams of beef
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 5 tablespoons of oil
- 1.5 teaspoons of red pepper powder
- 1 teaspoon of thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon of chili pepper
For the wrap:
- 1 pack of lavash
- 1.5 cups hot water
- 1/4 bunch of parsley
- 3 tomatoes _
- 2 onions _
- 1 lemon _
How to Make Meat Tantuni Recipe?
- Let's pour 2 tablespoons of oil into our pan. After the oil gets a little hot, let's put the meat that we cut into small pieces into our pan.
- Let's cook it until the water is absorbed. (If our meat is not cooked until the water is absorbed, let's add a small amount of water and let our meat cook.)
- Add 2 tablespoons of oil and butter to the softened meat and fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Then, let's add salt, spices and hot water and cook it a little more. (Let's adjust the amount of water so that our meat is neither too dry nor too watery.)
- Let's chop the parsley into very small pieces. Let's chop the onions into very thin crescent shapes and mix them with sumac. Let's chop the tomatoes into small pieces.
- Let's dip our lavash into our cooked meat and mix it with its water. Then, let's put our meat, onion, tomato and parsley, squeeze lemon on it and wrap it in a roll.
