Ingredients for Meat Tart Recipe

For Tart Dough:

  • 250 grams of flour
  • 125 grams of butter
  • 1 egg _
  • 1 tablespoon of salt

For Internal Filling:

  • 250 grams cubed beef breast meat
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup boiled peas
  • 2 carrots _
  • 1 potato _
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

How to Make Meat Tart Recipe?

  • For the tart dough: Sift the flour into a large bowl. Rub the butter into the dough with your fingertips.
  • Add the other ingredients and knead until it reaches a homogeneous consistency.
  • When all the ingredients are mixed together, wrap the dough in stretch film and let it rest.
  • Preparation of the filling: Chop all the ingredients to be almost the same size.
  • Heat the pan and melt the butter. Sauté carrots and potatoes in melted butter.
  • When the potatoes and carrots become slightly soft, add the meat and peas and cook thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper and the stuffing is ready.
  • Preheat the oven to 170 degrees.
  • Grease and flour the tart moulds. Thin the dough between two pieces of baking paper using a rolling pin or roller.
  • Place the dough in the mold and poke small holes in the bottom with a fork. Fill the stuffing and cover it with the thinned dough in the same way. Bake in the oven until the dough is golden brown. That's it, bon appetit!
