How to Make Meatballs & Potatoes on a Tray Recipe?

  • First, put the ingredients for the meatballs in a deep bowl.
  • Knead well and prepare the meatball mixture.
  • Make round meatballs the size of your palm from the mixture you prepared.
  • Wash the potatoes and put them in a pot, fill them with enough water, sprinkle 1 teaspoon of salt and let them boil.
  • After the potatoes are thoroughly boiled, peel them, put them on a baking tray and mash them roughly with a masher, without turning them into too much puree.
  • Drizzle 2 spoons of olive oil over the potatoes and sprinkle with salt, black pepper and thyme.
  • Place the meatballs on top and pour the sauce you prepared.
  • Finally, sprinkle the cherry tomatoes on top. Wet a piece of baking paper that you cut to the size of a tray, squeeze out the juice and cover the tray.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes, then remove the baking paper from the top, put it back in the oven and bake for another 10 minutes until the top is lightly browned.
  • After taking it out of the oven, decorate it with finely chopped parsley leaves and serve hot. Bon appetit!
