How to Make Meatballs Recipe?
- Place the minced meat required for the meatballs in a deep bowl. Grate the onion on top with the fine side of the grater and break the egg. Add the finely chopped parsley, breadcrumbs and spices and knead well.
- Take pieces from the kneaded meatball mixture that are slightly larger than a tangerine, roll them in your palm and shape them into a bowl by pressing the middle with your finger. Make your meatballs large because they will shrink when cooked.
- Meanwhile, put the potatoes in a deep pot to boil them, add enough water to cover them and leave them to boil.
- Place the meatballs you have shaped into a baking pan with a lightly oiled bottom and bake in a preheated oven at 190 degrees for about 20 minutes until the tops of the meatballs are golden brown.
- Meanwhile, make the mashed potatoes. After boiling the potatoes needed for the mash, peel them and mash them with the help of a masher.
- While the potatoes are still hot, add the butter, milk and grated cheddar cheese and prepare your puree by turning the stove on low and stirring gently until the butter melts and mixes well with the potatoes.
- Meanwhile, take the cooked meatballs out of the oven, put the mashed potatoes you prepared into a squeezing bowl and squeeze them into the middle of the meatballs. Prepare the sauce, pour the sauce between the meatballs and put them back in the oven.
- Bake for about 15 more minutes until the potatoes are golden brown and serve hot. Bon appetit.
