It's not clear how we love meatballs. We love every aspect of it, every shape of it. Now, here is a delicious recipe cooked in a casserole, with that wonderful smell on it, in its most beautiful form: Meatballs with sauce on a clay tile!

A bread-like, finger-appealing flavor with its wonderful sauce, named after the container in which it is cooked. A nutritious and delicious main dish, ready to take its place on your most beautiful tables. You can either make a grainy rice pilaf or a salad on the side. Now it's up to you, enjoy your meal!

 
Ingredients for Meatballs with Red Sauce Recipe
  • 500 grams of minced meat
  • 1 onion (finely chopped )
  • 2 cloves of garlic (crushed)
  • 1 egg _
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (stale bread will also work)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 3 tablespoons of oil (butter if you wish, to fry the meatballs)

For the Sauce:

  • 1 teaspoon of pepper paste
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1.5 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

For the above:

  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese

How to Make Meatballs with Sauce in Tile Recipe?

  • Add minced meat, onions, garlic and eggs to a deep bowl.
  • Add the bread crumbs.
  • Add cumin, black pepper, ground red pepper and salt. Knead well.
  • Leave it in this state to rest in the fridge for about 15-20 minutes.
  • Shape the meatballs nicely.
  • For the sauce, add oil and pepper paste to a small pan. Roast a little.
  • Add tomato puree and boil. Add salt and pepper.
  • Arrange the meatballs on the tile, drizzle oil on them and bake them on the middle shelf of a preheated oven set at 190 degrees, upside down, for about 25 minutes, until the insides are cooked. If you do not want it to dry out, you can cook it covered in the first half of this period.
  • Pour tomato sauce over the cooked meatballs.
  • Add the cheddar cheese and put it in the oven for another 10-15 minutes.
  • When the cheese melts, it is ready.
  • Serve hot. Enjoy your meal!
