For tomato sauce:
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon tomato paste
- 4-5 tablespoons of grated tomato
- 1 teaspoon spice seasoning (thyme, mint, salt)
How to Make Mother's Meatballs with Mashed Potatoes Recipe?
- First, knead all the ingredients for the meatballs in a bowl. You need to knead for 5-8 minutes. Then let it rest in the refrigerator for half an hour (this step is not mandatory). After resting, shape it into a round shape and fry it. ⠀
- For mashed potatoes, boil the potatoes in salted water. At the end of the time, mash the peeled potatoes. Add the spices and milk and cook over low heat until it thickens. When ready, spread it on the bottom of a baking tray.
- For tomato sauce, fry olive oil and tomato paste. Then add grated tomatoes and spices. Cook until it thickens.⠀
