You can prepare paper kebab, also known as Lahmi Le Varka (meat in paper), in the oven by adding minced beef breast, parsley, garlic and pepper. The kebab, which is drier than the tray kebab and served as the essence of meat, is one of the most popular Antakya delicacies.

Ingredients for Paper Kebab Recipe
  • 600 grams cubed beef breast meat
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 6 green peppers
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

For the above:

  • 1 small tomato (optional)
  • 1 green pepper (optional)

How to Make Paper Kebab Recipe?

  • To prepare the kebab; Cut the green peppers in half and remove their seeds and chop them into small pieces.
  • Finely chop the parsley and garlic. Mince the cubed beef with a cleaver and thin it.
  • Bring all the ingredients you have chopped together with the meat and continue to reduce them by chopping them with a cleaver.
  • Roll out the kebab mixture you kneaded on baking paper by pressing it with your hand to make it stick. Use a round mold if you wish.
  • If desired, place tomato slices and green peppers on top and bake in a preheated oven at 250 degrees for 20 minutes.
