We say "What are the parsley meatballs" to express how surprising something is, we say "Köftehor" when we want to scold someone slightly, we say "The more bread, the more meatballs" when we want everything to be fair and affordable, in short, we are in love with meatballs.

Now here comes the king of meatballs, the heavyweight of the tables. Roast meatballs come in all their glory with peas, potatoes, carrots and walnuts. It is very nutritious, it will meet your needs for both meat and vegetables in one slice, and you can prepare mashed potatoes on the side, oh my goodness. Ingredients for Roast Meatballs Recipe
  • 1 kg. meatball minced meat
  • 1 egg _
  • 2 large size onions
  • 1 glass of bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin

For the filling:

  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 jar of garnish
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

For the above:

  • 1 egg white

For the sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
  • 1 glass of water
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of ground red pepper

How to Make Roast Meatballs Recipe?

  • Peel and grate the onion, then add all the ingredients required for the meatball mixture and knead well.
  • For the filling, heat the olive oil in a pan, chop the garlic finely, sauté it lightly in olive oil, and then add the garnishes that you have drained and rinsed in cold water.
  • After mixing a little, add the walnuts, add the spices, fry for a few minutes and remove from the heat.
  • Place the meatball mixture on a greaseproof paper and roll it out into a rectangular shape with your hand or with the help of a rolling pin.
  • Spread the stuffing you prepared on top and, starting from the long edge, wrap the meatball filling in a roll shape with the help of wax paper.
  • Apply egg white well on the roll you prepared, using a brush or your hand. This way you will prevent your meatballs from falling apart, the egg white will act as glue.
  • To cook your roast meatballs, set the oven to 180 degrees, and in the meantime, first wrap your roll well with wax paper, then cover it with aluminum foil and put it in the preheated oven. Leave it to bake in the oven like this for 30 minutes.
  • While the roast meatballs are cooking, prepare the sauce; Heat the oil in a sauce pan, put the tomato paste in it and fry it a little, then add the water, open the tomato paste and mix it well until it reaches the consistency of sauce. Add the spices, bring it to a boil and turn off the heat.
  • After 30 minutes, turn on the oven, remove the aluminum foil and wax paper from the top of your roast meatballs, put the meatballs back into the oven and leave them to cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Finally, take the roast meatballs out of the oven, pour the sauce you prepared on top and serve hot with mashed potatoes.
