  • 2 green peppers
  • 2 tomatoes _

  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of chili pepper

For bechamel sauce:

  • 3 roasted eggplants
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1.5 cups of milk
  • 1.5 tablespoons of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 100 grams of cheddar cheese

How to Make Roasted Hünkar Beğendi Recipe?

  • We put the roasted meat in the pan, heat it, and add the oil. We add onions and garlic and mix. When the onions start to melt, we add the pepper and tomatoes and mix.
  • We add tomato paste and spices and continue mixing.
  • Add half a glass of water and let it cook.
  • For bechamel sauce; We melt the butter. We add the flour and fry for 5-6 minutes until it changes color.
  • We add milk and continue roasting. When it thickens, add salt and black pepper and mix.
  • We chop the roasted eggplants finely and add them. After adding the kashar and melting them well, we remove them from the stove.
  • We serve it by spreading béchamel sauce on our plate and adding the meat on top. Bon appetit!
