Ingredients for Roasted Pilaf Recipe
  • 500 grams of cubed lamb meat
  • 2 potatoes _
  • 2 carrots _
  • 2 cups of rice
  • 1 bowl of chickpeas
  • 2 spoonful butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of chili pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large size onions

How to Make Roasted Pilaf Recipe?

  • First, cook the meat until it releases its water and becomes soft.
  • Fry with 1 tablespoon of butter and set aside.
  • Arrange the onions chopped into thick rings on the bottom of the pot.
  • In a separate pan, fry the potatoes with enough olive oil to cover the potatoes.
  • When the potatoes get some color, add the julienned carrots and fry for another 5 minutes.
  • Add the meat on the onion and put the vegetables on top of it.
  • Add the chickpeas on top of the vegetables.
  • Rice that has been soaked in hot water and washed thoroughly will be placed on top and flattened by pressing with a spoon.
  • Add the spices and 1 spoon of butter and salt on top and pour boiling water to cover the rice by 1 finger.
  • The rice is cooked when all the water has been absorbed and the onions smell slightly burning. Enjoy your meal.
