- 500 grams of cubed lamb meat
- 2 potatoes _
- 2 carrots _
- 2 cups of rice
- 1 bowl of chickpeas
- 2 spoonful butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of chili pepper
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 large size onions
How to Make Roasted Pilaf Recipe?
- First, cook the meat until it releases its water and becomes soft.
- Fry with 1 tablespoon of butter and set aside.
- Arrange the onions chopped into thick rings on the bottom of the pot.
- In a separate pan, fry the potatoes with enough olive oil to cover the potatoes.
- When the potatoes get some color, add the julienned carrots and fry for another 5 minutes.
- Add the meat on the onion and put the vegetables on top of it.
- Add the chickpeas on top of the vegetables.
- Rice that has been soaked in hot water and washed thoroughly will be placed on top and flattened by pressing with a spoon.
- Add the spices and 1 spoon of butter and salt on top and pour boiling water to cover the rice by 1 finger.
- The rice is cooked when all the water has been absorbed and the onions smell slightly burning. Enjoy your meal.
