Ingredients for Roasted Rice Recipe
  • 300 grams of cubed meat
  • 1 onion _
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 sprig of fresh thyme
  • 2 spoonful butter
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

For the pilaf:

  • 2 cups of rice
  • 3 glasses of water
  • 2 spoonful butter
  • 1 tablespoon vermicelli
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

How to Make Roasted Rice Recipe?

  • Put your meat in a pressure cooker and roast it until the water is released and absorbed. Peel the onion and garlic and place them whole on the meat.
  • Add fresh thyme. Add water up to the level of the meat and close the lid of your pressure cooker. Bake for 40 minutes.
  • After cooking, remove the onion, garlic and thyme you put in it. If there is any broth left, you can reserve it to use in rice. Finally, add the butter and fry a little more. Your roasting is ready.
  • To drink rice, soak the rice in hot salted water for half an hour to remove the starch. Take butter in your pot, add the noodles and fry. After draining the rice, add it and continue roasting.
  • For 1 cup of rice, add 1.5 cups of water, i.e. 3 cups in total. You can also use broth at this stage. Add salt and close the lid.
  • Stir once, turn down the heat and let it brew. After cooking, let it rest for another 10 minutes, covered.
