Ingredients for Şehzade Kebab Recipe
  • 1 kilogram of beef cubed meat
  • 3 cups of water (to cook the meat)
  • 3 tablespoons of oil
  • 1 onion (chopped )
  • 2 green peppers ( chopped)
  • 3 cloves of garlic (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon of chili pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 eggplants (diced, fried )
  • 2 village peppers ( for topping)
  • 1 tomato (cut into quarters, for topping )

For the Sauce:

  • 1 glass of water
  • 1.5 tablespoons of tomato paste

How to Make Şehzade Kebab Recipe?

  • Cut the eggplants into cubes and fry them in deep oil.
  • Seal your meat in a pot or pressure cooker, add enough water to cover it and cook over low heat until it becomes soft.
  • When the meat is almost soft, fry the chopped onions and peppers with oil in a separate pot.
  • After adding the meat, add garlic, chili pepper, salt and pepper and mix again. After mixing, remove from the stove.
  • Place the diced eggplants in a casserole dish or ovenproof bowl.
  • Add the meat mixture on top.
  • After adding the village pepper and sliced tomatoes, pour the tomato paste and water mixture over it and leave it to bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
