Ingredients for Simit Kebab Recipe
  • 1 cup fine bulgur
  • 1 glass of warm water
  • 700 grams of ground beef (single-shot kebab mince)
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1.5 teaspoons of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon ground red pepper
  • 1.5 teaspoons of mint
  • 2 cloves of garlic

How to Make Simit Kebab Recipe?

  • Mix bulgur with warm water in a large kneading bowl and wait until the bulgur swells slightly.
  • After the bulgur swells, ventilate it with the help of a spatula, add the minced meat, salt, black pepper, red pepper powder, mint and grated garlic and start kneading the minced meat without crushing it too much.
  • Prepare the bulgur and minced meat mixture into thin and equal meatballs on the soaked skewers and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  • Bake in the oven preheated to 200 degrees for 25 minutes. Serve with onion sumac and fresh bread, enjoy!
