Ingredients for Sour Stew Recipe
  • 200 grams of cubed meat
  • 3 tablespoons of pepper paste
  • 1 cup chickpeas
  • 1 glass of infertility bulgur
  • 3 tablespoons semolina
  • 3 tablespoons of flour
  • 1 glass of hot water
  • 2 teaspoons sumac
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 2 teaspoons of mint
  • 1/2 tea glass of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 onion _
  • 1 teaspoon of chili pepper
  • 1 egg _

How to Make Sour Stew Recipe?

  • The meat is sautéed with half the oil and garlic powder, then 2 tablespoons of pepper paste is added and the roasting continues. When the meat is integrated with the tomato paste, 1.5 liters of water is added, the fire is reduced and the lid is left to boil.
  • Place the bulgur on a tray, add boiling water and wait 5 minutes for the bulgur to swell.
  • When the bulgur swells, add semolina, onion, salt, black pepper, 1 spoon of tomato paste and flour and start kneading it. When the bulgur and all the ingredients are combined, break the egg on top. And knead for 10 minutes.
  • Add half a glass of water to the sumac and let it sit.
  • The dough is kneaded for another 5 minutes until it reaches a smooth consistency.
  • Then, small balls are rolled and placed on a floured tray.
  • The meat is boiled covered for about 1 hour and when it becomes very soft (enough to fall apart on a fork), pre-boiled chickpeas are added one by one.
  • When the chickpeas absorb the water, add bulgur balls and boil with the lid closed for 15 minutes.
