We think it is time to give due importance to potatoes, which are the crown jewel of our table and everyone's favorite. Why should they just be fried and served with another dish, or change shape as a salad or puree? Here you go, sir, in all its glory, as a wonderfully delicious main course. Moreover, the meat it is always served with fills it this time.

The harmony between the saffron and the meat is palate-pleasing. It is very different from the recipes we are used to, with its different aroma and spices. Since it is not easy to carve potatoes when they are raw, it is a bit difficult to make. But once you take a bite, you'll realize it was worth all the effort.

How to Make Stuffed Potatoes with Meat Recipe?

  • If your meat is not chopped, start preparing your recipe by cutting it into dice-sized pieces.
  • Take butter in a pressure cooker and seal the chopped meat in this oil for 3 minutes.
  • Then add ½ cup of water, close the pot and cook the meat in this way for 10-15 minutes.
  • After the meat is cooked, prepare the stuffing.
  • Break one of the eggs into a deep bowl, add salt, pepper, cooked meat, bread crumbs, finely chopped garlic and parsley and mix well.
  • Wash the potatoes and peel them.
  • Divide the peeled potatoes in half and hollow out each half to form stuffing. Fill the potatoes with your filling.
  • Break the other egg into a bowl and whisk. Sprinkle the flour into another shallow bowl.
  • Dip the top of the stuffed potatoes first into the flour and then into the egg.
  • Put olive oil in a deep frying pan and cook the potatoes in hot olive oil until they turn golden brown.
  • But be careful not to let them cook completely. Place the cooked stuffed potatoes on a baking tray.
  • Put 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a sauce pan and fry the finely chopped onions well.
  • Then add the wine, saffron and more salt and pepper if necessary to the onions. Mix well, add the broth and boil for a while.
  • Pour this sauce over the potatoes you put on the baking tray. Bake in this way for 25 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees.
  • At the end of 25 minutes, open the oven and check with a fork whether the potatoes are cooked and place the kashar cheese on each stuffing.
  • Close the oven door and continue cooking for about 5 more minutes until the cheese melts.
  • Serve the stuffed potatoes hot from the oven by garnishing them with parsley leaves. Enjoy your meal.
