For meat:
- 750 grams of lamb meat with bones
- 2 onions
- 2 spoonful butter
- 1 carrot
- 2 cups boiled chickpeas
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 pinch of cinnamon
- 2 cloves _
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2-3 glasses of hot water (enough to cover the meat)
For finishing:
- 2 egg yolks
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 2 tablespoons of flour
- 1/2 cup broth
How to Make White Stew Recipe?
- Place the lamb meat with bones in a pot. Add enough hot water to cover it. Add bay leaves, spices, cloves and peeled and diced carrots and cook over medium heat for 1 hour.
- Remove the meat and carrots from the pot. Separate the meat from the bones and cut the meat into cube-sized pieces.
- Heat the butter in another pot. Peel the onions, cut them into rings and fry them in oil for 4-5 minutes until the color fades.
- Add the meat and fry for another 3-4 minutes.
- Add chickpeas, carrots and 3 cups of broth from the water in which the meat was boiled. (If broth is not enough, you can also use hot water.)
- When almost cooked, beat the egg thoroughly in a bowl. Add lemon juice, flour and food water to the egg (until the seasoning becomes fluid), whisk again and slowly add the seasoning to the meal.
- Once cooked, serve with rice or puree. Enjoy your meal.
