Ingredients for Zucchini Meftune Recipe
  • 3 zucchinis _
  • 200 grams of cubed veal
  • 50 grams of butter
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper powder
  • 1/4 cup sumac
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 cloves of garlic

How to Make Zucchini Meftune Recipe?

  • Place the sumac in a bowl, sprinkle some salt on it, add enough hot water to cover it and set it aside.
  • Peel the zucchini and cut them into cubes.
  • Place the meat in a bowl and add tomato paste, salt and red pepper, then rub the meat well so that the tomato paste spreads well all over.
  • After adding butter and olive oil to a pot, add the meat and fry your meat, stirring constantly, for about 3 minutes.
  • Add the chopped zucchini and continue roasting for a few more minutes.
  • Strain the water from the sumac that has been soaked in water into the pot. In other words, you will not put sumacs into the pot, but only the water that sumac gives its color to.
  • Add 1 more glass of hot water, cover the pot and let it cook over low heat for about 30 minutes until the meat is tender.
  • After the meat is cooked well, place your meal on a serving plate and serve hot after grating garlic on top.
