  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 3 heaping tablespoons of flour
  • 5 cups hot chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon dried mint

How to Make Flour Soup Recipe?

  • Put the butter and olive oil in a deep pot and heat it. Add flour little by little and start roasting over low heat. Be careful to roast the flour without burning it and to get a light color.
  • Add the hot chicken broth to the roasted flour little by little and mix quickly with a hand whisk to avoid lumps.
  • Season the boiling soup with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Add any spices you desire at this stage.
  • Melt the butter in a small saucepan or pan over low heat. Add dried mint and stir until its scent is released.
  • Pour the mint butter you prepared over the hot soup in serving bowls and share it with your loved ones without waiting.
