As you know, the weather has become cold. We need lots of recipes that will warm us up. Even though there are recipes that are warming, satisfying, nutritious and practical, wouldn't it be nice if we could prepare them immediately after returning from school or work and save the day with a single variety?
We found the solution in soup with meatballs and yoghurt. This recipe met all our expectations with its bulgur meatballs, plenty of yoghurt, and mint sauce. In fact, if the meatballs are prepared in advance and stored in the freezer, it can even become your favorite soup.
For the meatball mixture:
- 300 grams of minced meat
- 3 tablespoons fine bulgur
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
For the soup:
- 2 cups of yoghurt
- 3 tablespoons of flour
- 5 glasses of water
- 1 teaspoon of salt
For the above:
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons dried mint
- 1 teaspoon of chili pepper
How to Make Meatball Yogurt Soup Recipe?
- Put the meatball ingredients in a bowl and knead them well.
- Then, cut it into small pieces and roll the pieces between your palms to form tiny meatballs.
- Coat the meatballs in flour to prevent them from sticking.
- Put three glasses of water in a pot and boil it. Add the meatballs to boiling water and cook for 10 minutes.
- Mix yoghurt and flour well in a separate bowl. Take the water from the meatballs and add them to the yoghurt-flour mixture.
- Slowly add the marinade you prepared onto the meatballs. While adding the seasoning, quickly stir the soup over low heat.
- Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring slowly. Add salt after cooking. Enjoy your meal!
