Ingredients for Potato Soup Recipe
  • 3 medium sized potatoes
  • 1 medium sized onion
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 5 cups hot water
  • 1 glass of water Milk
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

For the above:

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon of ground red pepper
  • 1 pinch dill (chopped)

How to Make Potato Soup Recipe?

  • Put the olive oil and butter in a deep pot. Sauté the chopped onion in hot oil until it acquires a light color. Then add the flour and fry for a few minutes.
  • Chop the peeled potatoes into cubes. Wash in plenty of water and drain.
  • Sauté the potatoes with the onions for about 5 minutes. Then add water and let it cook.
  • After the potatoes become soft, make them smooth with a blender.
  • Add salt, freshly ground black pepper and milk to the boiling soup mixture, little by little, and mix quickly.
  • If desired, melt the butter with the spices, drizzle over it and serve with a sprinkling of finely chopped dill. Enjoy your meal!
