  • 9 large tomatoes
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 5 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 medium sized onion
  • 5 cups hot water
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

How to Make Roasted Tomato Soup Recipe?

  1. Start preheating your oven at 180 degrees. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly and cut them in half without peeling them. Line your baking tray with baking paper and place the tomatoes you cut in half. Drizzle some olive oil on top.
     
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes. Throw the garlic into the oven 15 minutes after putting the tomatoes in the oven. Remove the roasted tomatoes and garlic from the oven. Peel the shells. Crush the garlic.
     
  3. Chop the onion into small cubes.
     
  4. Put it in a pot. Add olive oil and tomato paste. Continue cooking until the onions are thoroughly roasted. When cooked, add the crushed garlic. Turn a few more times.
     
  5. Then add the roasted tomatoes and hot water. Cook until the tomatoes are thoroughly melted.
     
  6. Cook over medium heat until the tomatoes melt thoroughly. Add salt and spices.
