  • 1 glass of warm milk
  • 1 pack of dry yeast
  • 1 tea glass of sugar
  • 100 grams of melted butter
  • 3 egg whites ( on yolk)
  • 1 teaspoon mahlep
  • 4.5 cups of flour
  • 50 grams of flaked almonds

How to Make Easter Bun Recipe?

  • Activate the yeast by mixing milk and sugar.
  • Add all the ingredients except flour and mix.
  • Add the flour little by little and knead. Then wait for the dough to ferment for 40 minutes.
  • Divide the fermented dough into 6 equal parts.
  • Take the 3 pieces in front of you and open them lengthwise.
  • Bring the pieces into a braid shape. Apply the same process to the remaining 3 pieces. Brush them with egg yolk and add the almonds. Bake in a controlled oven at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
