Ingredients for Kashmiri Pulao Recipe
  • 60 milliliters of oil
  • 2 green cardamoms
  • 1 gram of powdered cardamom
  • 1 gram of powdered cloves
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 60 grams of flaked almonds
  • 60 grams of raisins
  • 160 grams basmati rice
  • 20 milliliters of rose water
  • 100 milliliters of milk
  • 300 milliliters of hot water
  • 6 grams of salt
  • 1 gram of saffron

For the above:

  • 10-15 cashews _
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 10-15 almonds _
  • 3-5 sprigs of parsley

How to Make Kashmiri Pulao Recipe?

  • Rice is washed and soaked in warm water. Garlic is extracted and crushed.
  • Add oil to the rice pot and heat it. Add green cardamom, garlic and cloves to the pot and fry for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the flaked almonds and raisins to the pot and roast them. Mix milk and saffron in a bowl. Add rice, rose water, saffron milk and salt to the pot.
  • Hot water is also added to the pot. Cook the rice until it absorbs the water. Rice is left to rest.
  • Cajuns and almonds are roasted. While rice is served, it is served with cajun, almonds, pomegranate seeds and chopped parsley. Enjoy your meal!
