This is a different rice recipe with a taste that cannot be abandoned by those who try it. Kashmiri pulao, the spicy pilaf of Indian cuisine, is here with all its details.
- 60 milliliters of oil
- 2 green cardamoms
- 1 gram of powdered cardamom
- 1 gram of powdered cloves
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 60 grams of flaked almonds
- 60 grams of raisins
- 160 grams basmati rice
- 20 milliliters of rose water
- 100 milliliters of milk
- 300 milliliters of hot water
- 6 grams of salt
- 1 gram of saffron
For the above:
- 10-15 cashews _
- 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
- 10-15 almonds _
- 3-5 sprigs of parsley
How to Make Kashmiri Pulao Recipe?
- Rice is washed and soaked in warm water. Garlic is extracted and crushed.
- Add oil to the rice pot and heat it. Add green cardamom, garlic and cloves to the pot and fry for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the flaked almonds and raisins to the pot and roast them. Mix milk and saffron in a bowl. Add rice, rose water, saffron milk and salt to the pot.
- Hot water is also added to the pot. Cook the rice until it absorbs the water. Rice is left to rest.
- Cajuns and almonds are roasted. While rice is served, it is served with cajun, almonds, pomegranate seeds and chopped parsley. Enjoy your meal!
