Think of a soup that warms you in the winter months and is a source of healing when you are sick. At this point, there is a wonderful flavor coming from Korean cuisine: Dak Gom Tang. It is a traditional dish of Korean cuisine. This soup, which is generally consumed in winter months, is also preferred in summer months; It is very popular on special occasions and during periods of illness. - 1 chicken carcass
- 1 chicken drumstick
- 1 tablespoon of ginger
- 6 cloves of garlic
- 1 onion _
- 5 spring onions ( white parts)
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 liters of cold water
For the Sauce:
- 1 clove of garlic (crushed)
- 1 teaspoon silk chili pepper
- 5 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 cup hot chicken broth
For Service:
- 1 spring onion ( green parts)
How to Make Korean Style Chicken Soup (Dak Gom Tang) Recipe?
- Put the chicken carcass, drumstick, peeled garlic, peeled and coarsely chopped fresh ginger, peeled and coarsely chopped onion, white parts of green onions, black peppercorns and water in a large and deep pot and put it on the stove.
- First turn the pot on high heat, then turn it to the lowest setting when it fully boils and cook for about an hour without stirring. If any foam rises to the top at this stage, be sure to collect it with a spoon or ladle.
- After the chicken meat becomes soft, carefully remove the carcass and drumstick from the pot, remove the meat and keep it aside.
- Mix all the ingredients needed for the sauce in a bowl. While serving, divide plain chicken broth into bowls.
- Put the chicken pieces in bowls, add finely chopped spring onion stalks on top, and serve with the sauce you prepared in a different bowl. Enjoy your meal.
