Ingredients for Ratatouille Recipe

For Tomato Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/2 onion _
  • 1 capia pepper
  • 2 tomatoes _
  • 3-4 sprigs of fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cloves of garlic (optional)

For Vegetables:

  • 2 medium sized zucchinis
  • 2 medium sized eggplants
  • 1 tomato _
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 tea glass of olive oil

For the above:

  • 3-4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1-2 sprigs of fresh thyme

How to Make Ratatouille Recipe?

  • For the ratatouille recipe, first roast the capia pepper by placing a sheet metal on the stove. Then, while the pepper is still hot, cover it with plastic wrap and place it on a plate to preserve its flavor.
  • Add the tomatoes to the food processor and puree. Peel the roasted red peppers, add them to the food processor and blend with the tomatoes until a smooth consistency is achieved.
